My Dear readers.... I will be going to USA soon and will continue to update the blog of my adventure there.. and stay tune because this time round i will be re-uniting with my camera and finally i can add some pretty pics of the place and food to this turning stale blog of mine....Yay! =))))

LoSe To WIn - U have nothing to LOSe!

Well... no pics, no baking.. did cooking ( Baked Saba - all thanks to Coraine's tempting blog) but no pics... might as well blog... Yes! I am whining.

I would like to talk more on the program i have joined. I was actually having some external course at Toa Payoh where my collegues and I came across this Lose to Win road show... Hmmm .. very interesting. We stopped at the booth and asked if there is any registration fee required.. (typical aunty question! haha) and I got the answer which all "aunty" will be overjoyed to hear - "No" and so ... we signed up immediately without second tot nor hesitation. Why not? I have nothing to lose but all the benefits to gain....

Wait! First all of you must be aware of the criteria you need to have in order to join. As this is heavily funded by HPB (I guess, since their person in charge is always there when we are doing exercise..) . Not so sure about the guys ... but ALL GALS! you must be:

1) Overweight (BMI >25, < 36)  - meaning you cannot be too obese for it as there is much exercise to be done. (I have never been so proud to be overweight in my life! Yes! I am!!)
2) Waist Circumference > 32"

Once you are in, get ready to be really invovled in a 3 mths intensive weight lose programme. Every week there will be exercise sessions hosted by professionals from TeamfitnessGuru ( do check them out, they are superb! http://www.teamfitnessguru.com/ ) You will be send for 3 nutrition workshops where you will learn how to eat right, cook right and buy right. Now, the free stuffs:

1) 2 Dri-fit T-shirt with the Lose To Win Logo
2) 1 pkt Milo and 1 btl mineral water at the end of each exercise session
3) 2 weeks of healthy meals at participating Kopitiam
4) 1 gym bag, with towel

Personally i am going into the 2nd month of this program and just got my weight assesment results! I have lost 4.8kg and 4cm from my fat waist! Yeah! and i have gain back my stamina to train for my runs and start exercising again (after slagging for a long 1 yr). I feel good again! I am still training hard and being very careful of my food intake. Hopefully I can lose another 8kg by the end of the 3 months! Everyone! support me mentally okay?! =)

P/S: Do note that every person can only enroll in this program once! (So sad when i heard this news... but anyway the knowledge gained is beneficial for lifetime)
